Product Management is our engine room. This is where new ROY ROBSON parts are created “from scratch”, carrying our history into the future. The aim? To formulate ROY ROBSON’s fashion statement, translate it for new generations and ensure that the brand’s common thread is closely interwoven with every product.

ABOUT THE BALANCING ACT BETWEEN TRADITION AND THE FUTURE

As ROY ROBSON, we produce a large proportion of our menswear ourselves in our factory in Izmir. Nadine from Product Management makes sure that even the products that are not manufactured there have the ROY ROBSON fit. To complete the total look, she and her team work on jackets, knitwear, T-shirts, sweatshirts, accessories and shoes.


What is your overarching task in the team?
We want to create the right product at the right time at the right price with the right quality for our customers. As a brand, we stand for the suit at first glance, but we build a whole world around it. To make the collections stand out, we use lace. These may not be the pieces with the highest quantities, but they secure the future. We are the filter that looks through the customer’s eyes and decides how far we can jump. We want to be contemporary, but it still has to be a ROY ROBSON piece and be understood.



What makes the job particularly exciting?

ROY ROBSON is a family business with heritage. We embrace history and our values and carry them into the future through our products. Because we define product management in such a way that creative work is an important part of it, we can see our ideas through from start to finish. The moment when our visual merchandise team sets up a collection in the showroom for the first time is particularly exciting. That’s when our ideas and boards become reality.


What makes you a team?
Each part of the team brings its own background, experience and perspective. It creates a ping-pong effect because we push each other and pass the balls. And that’s why we’re better as a team. Here you have the chance to shape your own area of work. But what unites us all is the drive to create a durable and sustainable product. This starts with the choice of fabric and extends to the fit and even the smallest details. A lot of love and focus goes into all our pieces. I think you can feel and sense that.

accessories.
“In addition, the ‘cherry-on-the-cake pieces’ in the collections are always favorites. When the first prototypes arrive, we celebrate them.”
